Ms. Beth C., who is currently teaching medicine in Shanghai, China, sat in on two of my after-school classes during her January Chinese New Year Break back to the States. The pictures in the below video were taken by her during her visits. She also comments, “It was a pleasure meeting you at the end of January during your Chinese class…. I was thrilled to see how fast the kids are learning Chinese, and are so excited about the language as well. Your gift to teach and love of the students is obvious during class! I started seriously studying Chinese this past September. It is really a commitment to devote hours of study time each day, but well worth the investment. It is one of the most challenging endeavors I have ever attempted. The more I learn about the people, culture and rich history, the more I love China.”
